On May 6 in the church of San Sebastian, 16 children from the fourth grade class at the Colegio made their First Communion. They had studied catechism for the past three years with teachers Nuria Barranco Andrades, Emilia Mendoza Avilan and Teresa Tamayo, under the supervision of the parish priest, Jose Morales Melquiso. The church, decorated with masses of white flowers, was standingroom only. The church choir sang. Afterwards, the families dispersed to celebrate at "convites" that lasted well into the night.
