A partner of SEO BirdLife, Bili knows many of the names of the plants and animals of the forest, rivers and mountains of this area. He also knows the history of Gaucín and its historical and cultural heritage. There is the possibility of excursions by horse to the river and forests and also to the river valley by 4x4 car. Choose the place that you want to go to: to the forest, to the Genal river, to the Guadiaro river, or to various mountain ranges. Follow the traditional routes from Gibraltar to Ronda, visit the neighbouring towns, or the Roman sulphur water baths in Manilva. There are also guided walks to the Castle of the Eagle and short tours to other interesting and secret corners of Gaucín. Price per hour for Guide: 12€ walking, 20€ car, 20€ horses.

On Wednesdays - 7, 14, 21, 28 of June there will be excursions to the Forest of the North; leave the Petrol Station at 8,00 in the morning. Price 10 € per person, 5€ children. 4 or 5 hours, easy route, almost all in the shade of the trees. Take water to drink and something to eat. Reservations not required.

Thursdays 8, 15, 22 and 29 of June there will be excursions to the Genal river; leave from the Petrol Station at 10,00 in the morning. Price 20€ per person, 10€ children. 7 or 8 hours, following the traditional route towards the river by Las Limas. Includes natural swimming pool, picnic and returns through the forest. Fridays 9, 16, 23 and 30 of June there will be excursions to the Mountain range of the Beacon; leave from the Petrol Station at 08,00 in the morning. Price 20€ per person, 10€ children. 4 or 5 hours by the old route, climb up on an ancient path through vines, picnic at the top and return taking advantage of the shade. Difficult route but well shaded by trees and mountains. To reserve a place call 628 309 475. Possibility of exploring caves. Maximum 5 or 6 people. Take water to drink and something to eat.

Sundays 4, 11, 18 and 25 of June there will be excursions to the Rio Genal by 4x4 car; leave from the Petrol Station at 11,00 in the morning. Price 40€ per person, 20€ children. 4 or 5 hours, picnic at the river, cross the river and return by the other side. To reserve a place call 628 309 475. Maximum 5 or 6 people.
