 The exhibition opens Friday, September 29, and goes until October 27.
Luis Ruiberriz de Torres wrote the following for the catalogue: The work of Juan Antonio Sangil includes the idea of updating the ancient world, with a language wounded by the slashes given to life by chronic mistreatment to the great civilizations to which man molds it, hurts it, and dries it of its sap, overflowed by open channels, without a fixed course. . . This exhibition is, therefore, something that moves, that touches the fiber of the precise technique, of the dignified raw material, of the well-assimilated lesson of his ancestors, of serene and competent didactics and respect to the existential dfoubts that we all have ourselves.
