11/08/2006 Archived Article: "The Gaucin Banda de Música participated in the Band and Choir meeting in Casabermeja"
 The event took place on 28 October. There was a great variety in the music performed as the various groups have very different styles.
The Directors of the Band, Lorenzo Ductor & Victor Palenque, awarded plaques for participating in the event to the Ayuntamientos of Benaojan & Gaucín. Our band is made up of a big variety of musicians --- all different ages. The experience of participating in the Casabermeja event led to the feeling that music brings people together and participants make friends wherever they go.
