01/22/2007 Archived Article: "Authorities will asphalt our bit of the A369" Friday last there was another public protest demanding that this dangerous bit of the A369 be fixed before there is another death. Many citizens took part, and the Mayor read the final manifesto. The protest march began in the Venta Socorro, and ended at the Gasolinera, but took up only 1 lane and did not disrupt the traffic. The very next day, Saturday, the road was scraped, which made it already much safer, and the foreman in charge of the works claimed that the entire stretch will be asphalted tomorrow or Wednesday. |
