23/04/2007 Archived Article: "Cultural Week began yesterday with Jim Rattenbury´s exhibition in the Convent"
The week of activities has been organizad by the Área de Cultura, Excmo. Ayuntamiento de Gaucín.
The Diputado de Cultura y Educación, Málaga, sponsors the week. The idea of this yearly event is to irradiate culture and to make it useful to the citizens through programs that are rich culturally, pluralistic, didactic and full of quality.
The exhibition of the Swiss artist Jim Rattenbury in the Convent, will be open the 24, 25 y 26 of April. Following is the rest of the schedule:
Friday, April 27: Sports Tournaments at 6 p.m, and at 11 p.m., in the Convento, “Zona Chill-Out”, Especial España, from the 80´s.
Saturday, April 28: abril, Sports Tournaments at 6 p.m,and at 11 p.m, Motherglue in concierto in the Convento.
Sunday, April 29, Sports Tournaments at 6 p.m. Classical music with the Flutes of Málaga, in the Convent at 10 p.m.
Tuesday, May 1: Labor Day. A free lunch for the pueblo, and at 8 p.m., María Carrasco in concert in the Pabellón Municipal.
Wednesday, May 2: at 4 p.m., Culture for Children Uyt theatre, workshops and music, in the convent.
Thursday, May 3: at 6 p.m., Baking Contest. At 10 p.m., Theatre with the Grupo Orando. Play: “Isabel es nombre de Reina.” In the Convento.
Friday, May 4: At 10 p.m., A Sports spectacle Uyt Boeing and go-go girls in the Pabellón Municipal.
Saturday, May 5, at 5 p.m. Bullfight in the Plaza de Toros, Gaucín.
