The book will be on sale by e-mail as well as in shops in Gaucin, such as the Papelería, Electromuebles Mendoza, etc. Since his early youth Francis Prieto has been a big fan of Flamenco. He plays the guitar a bit, but what most interests him is to write lyrics for flamenco songs. The first part of his book is a study of the whys and whens of these songs in Gaucín, and of the people who composed them. The second part of the book are unedited lyrics of the Fandangos y Serranas, just a small sampling, as he has many more which he hopes to publish in the future. At the presentation of his book Dña. María Morán (Cuchi,) Director of the local school, will be present & will speak, because besides being his teacher, she is a great friend. The new mayor, Sr. D. Teodoro de Molina, is also expected to attend, along with various local artists who will perform some of the songs that are included in this small but intense book. The public is invited to attend.
