09/30/2007 Archived Article: "Three group walks planned for this week"
The Tuesday, October 2, walk, led by Jorrian: Hi outdoor people: Depending on the weather (there is a forecast for rain) we will either stay low if the clouds are the same somewhere in the Perejil area beyond Almuña, or we'll go up onto the Benadalid ridge if the sky is clear. Both walks will range from 5 to 6 hours.
Meet at the petrol station at 10am, back in Gaucín at 4pm at the latest.

Thursday short walk with Janysb & Paul: On Thursday 04 October we will be walking the Pescaderos route that starts on the Cañada de Benarrabá below the Herriza hotel on the road to El Colmenar. The walk takes about 2.5hr and is fairly easy. We will need some cars to get to the start. Meet at the gasolinera at 10:00 a.m.
Please note that although the walk is free we ask for a 1 euro donation per person for the Cudeca cancer charity.
