10/17/2007 Archived Article: "Two walks planned for Thursday, 18 October"
 The long walk: Up the Ventana Peak South of Montejaque, if the skies are clear, or down the Campobuche valley NW of Montejaque when the clouds are low.
Meet at 10.am Gasolinera, 1 hours drive back and forth, return by 6pm. Both walks will take 5 to 6 hours
The short walk: The southern ridge section of the Smugglers route that starts just past the turning to El Colmenar on the Gaucin-Algeciras road. It is an easy walk and takes approximately 2hrs. Please note that although the walk is free we ask for a 1 euro donation per person for the Cudeca cancer charity. Meet at the gasolinera at 10:am.
