Gaucín will apply the new law of Historical Memory in its street names. At a council meeting celebrated this summer concejales voted to rename streets with Franco era names. Thus, the streets José Antonio and Queipo de Llano will become Andrés Silverio Martín and José Antonio Moreno Núñez, 2 gaucineños who were Guardia Civil, murdered by the ETA.
