11/20/2008 Archived Article: "Walk thru Salitre Valley scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22"

Walkers will meet at the Gaucin Gasolinera at 10 a.m., or Venta solera at 10:15 a.m., or at the Bus stop 3 K down the Cortes road at 10:20 p.m.
The walk is based around the Arroyo Salitre, and is fairly gentle with the odd ascent out of the bottom of the alley to get back to the cars.Duration 2.5 hours, about 5.5K. Possibility to extend it slightly if feeling energetic.
Good turn out for last Saturday walk in glorious albeit nippy weather.
