03/29/2009 Archived Article: "Notice for the Holy Week Processions"

The church of San Sebastián is organizing the processions of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno (Holy Thursday) and of the Santo Sepulcro and Virgen de los Dolores (Good Friday), and is looking for people to carry the floats. All who wish to participate should sign up in the parish by Saturday, April 5 (inclusive.) One can also sign up on the lists in the following bars: Bar Paco Pepe, Bar Pajuelo, Bar de Antonia (in the plaza) or Bar de Jose Luis (in the plaza.)

If there aren´t sufficient “costaleros” by Saturday, April 5, the processions will be suspended. We need to know enough ahead of time if there will be people to carry the statues in order to organize properly.
