The walk began on March 15, from Estepona, with 15 people from ADANA, the dog charity, taking stray dogs with them. Patrick Elvin led the group. They spent their first night in Gaucin. 1250 kilometres later and after 7 weeks they arrived in Santiago de Compostella having spread the message both on Televison and in the newspapers about the rights of abandoned dogs, seeking to educate children in caring for animals.
Over 50 walkers took part form all over the world. All the abandoned dogs from the ADANA shelter in Estepona who participated in the walk have been adopted.
