07/22/2009 Archived Article: "EXCURSION & CORK BARK CUTTING DISPLAY set for Saturday, July 25"

Linked to the Flamenco Festival del Corcho (Cork) on Saturday evening, 25th July, The Town Hall is organising, that morning, a free guided excursion into the cork woods where a display of cork being cut from the cork- oaks will take place. Afterwards, a typical ‘corchera’ (cork cutting) meal will be given to all the participants of the walk.
Depart 9.30 a.m. from the Square between Paco Pepe and El Puente bars.
Duration – around 3 hours of moderate walking, plus the time for the cork cutting exhibition and the meal (a total of 5 hours approximately). Bring something to drink.
