08/23/2010 Archived Article: "The Association for Touristic Initiatives announces the guided walks planned for September"

All residents and tourists who may be with us now are invited on these guided walks, no charge, to get to know the marvellous natural environment we have here in Gaucin. Guides speak Spanish and English. It is advisable to wear good walking shoes and to bring some water.

Sunday, 5 September: Forest walk. Approximately 3 hours. Medium difficulty --- gradual decents and climbing. Leaving from the Centro Sanitario in el Portichuelo at 10:30 a.m.

Sunday, 12 September: La Corchuela. Approx 3 hours. Forest walk. Medium difficulty. Leaving from the Parque de los Pajaritos on the road to Ronda at 10:30 a.m. Easy going except for one short climb of 5 minutes.

Saturday, 18 September: La Ermita. Approx. 3 hours. Leaving from the Plazoleta – taxi stand at 10:30 a.m. Type: open terrain. Medium difficulty. Easy descent, long climb back.

Sunday, 26 septiembre: Camino de Algeciras. Approx. 3 hours. Leaving from the Gasolinera at 10:30 a.m. Medium difficulty. Type: open terrain.
