ESCUELA MUNICIPAL FUTBOL GAUCIN keeps on competing
On Saturday, January 14, the fourth game of the Provincial League was played between Gaucín and Teba with the following results: Categoría benjamín: Gaucin:2 Teba:7; Categoría infantil: Gaucin:3 Teba: 7.
The games were played in Arriate. Juan José Montero from the infantil team suffered a sprained ancle and was 5 days in bed. Mass at noon on Three Kings Day
Next Friday, January 6, Epiphany --- more popularly known as Three Kings, Mass will be celebrates at Noon in the parish church. Next Sunday, Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, Mass will also be at noon. Everyone is welcome!
Masses for Christmastime are as follows:
--Saturday, December 24: Christmas Eve mass at 6 p.m., with the participation of all the children in Catechism
--Sunday, Christmas Day, Solemn mass of the Nativity at 12 noon.
Bonissim will be open for the Christmas holidays from Wednesday, 21 December, 10am - 2pm and 5pm - 7pm.
There will be selection of Christmas goodies available such as Iberico and Roast Hams, Cheeses, Quiches, Mince Pies, cakes, wine champagne and Gifts. Those who do not want the hassle of cooking can get their Christmas lunch from Bonissim.
The menu is individual roast turkey, roasted roots of carrot and parsnip, roast potatoes, brad sauce, cranberry sauce and gravy. A mini Christmas pudding with custard or panacotta with Amaretto and raspberries. All for 18euros. Vegetarian option available. Orders only before 21st December.
