The thief (or thieves) broke into the electric candle stand, and destroyed it. It only held a pittance, and the damage caused was far more than the amount stolen. The thief also stole a gold ring attached to the hand of the statue of Our Lady of Sorrows by a transparent cord. The ring was a gift from a member of the congregation many years ago. This theft has caused bad feelings in the pueblo as there haven´t been any robberies in the church for many years.
