The illustrious, always noble, very hospitable village of Gaucín.
Organized by the Asociación de Iniciativas Turísticas, the contest will continue through next week, ending next Sunday, 1 August.

Participants must try a minimum of 3 tapas in order to vote. All bars have an urn in which to deposit your voting sheet, and voting is open util August 2.

Following are the participating bars, and their tapa: Bodeguita Chaparro con “Albóndigas en Salsa;” Caballo Andaluz with “Crema de Gazpacho;” Casa Antonia with “ Jibia en salsa de almendras;” El Portesuelo with “Montadito de Bacalao;” El Pajuelo with “Costilla en adobo;” El Puente con “Solomillo con queso fundido y cebolla caramelizada;” La Casita with “Berenjena rellena de pistacho, feta y salsa de tomate;” La Herriza with “Albóndigas de Cordero rellenas;” La Fructuosa with “Codorniz en salsa;” La Taberna del Zorro with “Zorrito.”

Remember that the restaurants only serve the tapas to people who are dining there. At the end of the contest there will be a drawing of the votes and the winner gets a dinner for two at the Restaurante La Fructuosa. In the photo: the terrace of Restaurant Caballo Andaluz.
